ÃÛÌÒAPP aims to enhance the safety and health of the ÃÛÌÒAPP community by sponsoring awareness activities, education, and collaborative partnerships. Sexual misconduct includes a range of non-consensual sexual activity or unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. The term includes, but is not limited to, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, sexual intimidation, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. Sexual misconduct can be committed by men or women, strangers or acquaintances, and can occur between or among people of the same or opposite sex.
Mental health/psychological Counseling Services are available at the Student Health Center to currently enrolled students of ÃÛÌÒAPP and Lamar Institute of Technology.
The Critical Assessment Response and Evaluation Team coordinates support and response services for ÃÛÌÒAPP students that may be in crisis or may be a threat to the ÃÛÌÒAPP community.
Healthy Cards Peer Educators develop and present educational programs to the ÃÛÌÒAPP student community on a variety of topics including sexual responsibility, alcohol awareness, and more.
Bringing in the Bystander is a prevention program that emphasizes a bystander intervention approach and assumes everyone has a role to play in ending violence against women.
Presented by the ÃÛÌÒAPPPD, this presentation explains what domestic violence is and assures survivors that they are not alone. There are resources here at ÃÛÌÒAPP and in the community to help them Break the Cycle.
This presentation by ÃÛÌÒAPPPD is designed for students who are new to being away from home. It has information about the ÃÛÌÒAPPPD, basic awareness, crime prevention, and self-defense tools.

Pregnant and parenting students are eligible to receive support and resources from the Title IX Office. Support and resources may include supportive measures, medically necessary periods of leave, and leaves of absence.
