About Us

Welcome to the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at ÃÛÌÒAPP. The programs in our department have an excellent reputation in academic and research foundations as well as clinical training.

Undergraduate Curriculum

Our undergraduate curriculum provides students with a complete overview of human communication and its disorders within the context of a broad liberal arts education. Students receive cutting-edge information about the fields of speech-language pathology and audiology.

The curriculum includes the opportunity to observe therapy as well as participate in our ÃÛÌÒAPP Junior Clinician Program and ÃÛÌÒAPP SPHS Undergraduate Research Program. We have an active chapter of the National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA), which has received the Silver Chapter Recognition for outreach to the community, educational opportunities, and social and fundraising activities.

Residential Graduate Programs

Our residential graduate programs, the Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) and Master of Science (M.S.) in Speech-Language Pathology, are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the .
