The Deans of ����APP’s five academic colleges have announced a total of 1,200 students to the Fall 2021 Dean’s list.

The Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum has received a gift of $315,000 from the Mamie McFaddin Ward Heritage Foundation, managed by Hancock Whitney. The funds will support a transformational renovation project centered around preserving the museum’s longevity and the collections held in each building.

����APP announces its new business analytics concentration for the Bachelor of Business Administration – Management Information Systems.

Ashok Adhikari, a recent graduate of the Management Information Systems program in the College of Business’ School of Accounting and Information Systems, completed an internship with Santander Consumer USA in Dallas, Texas. Adhikar also was offered a full-time position as Internal Control Analyst.

For the first time since the start of the pandemic, ����APP has accepted five international semester exchange students from South Korea, Germany and France.

����APP recently inducted more than 100 new members of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Among those inductees are four ����APP alums and one faculty member.

On Thursday, Jan. 20, ����APP will celebrate the life and legacy of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special commemoration from the ����APP NAACP student chapter and Pietzsch-MacArthur Elementary.

The Young Men’s Business League has donated funds totaling $15,000 for the construction and ribbon cutting of a Cardinal NEST at Caldwood Elementary. Curtis Elementary is the final BISD campus to build a Cardinal NEST, sponsored by ����APP alum Susan Conn McCurry and Roger McCurry, who also sponsored the Cardinal NEST at Regina-Howell.

In the summer of 2019, Alexis Miller's dream of becoming a Cardinal was quickly halted when she realized that she didn’t have enough financial aid to cover her first semester at ����APP. However, the hopeful Beaumont native received a call from the ����APP Scholarships and Financial Aid department that changed everything.
