Applications open for ÃÛÌÒAPP Ambassadors through March 2
Application packets for ÃÛÌÒAPP Ambassadors will be available until March 2, 2017 in the Office of Alumni Affairs located in the John Gray Center, Rudy C. Williams Building, Suite 102 on the ÃÛÌÒAPP campus.
“ÃÛÌÒAPP Ambassadors are a select group who represent the student body at official university functions”, said Shannon Copeland, director of alumni affairs and advancement services. “ÃÛÌÒAPP Ambassadors work to promote university pride among students, alumni and friends of the university; have a high level of involvement on campus; and are well informed about the university and what it has to offer students, alumni and the community.”
To apply for membership in as an ÃÛÌÒAPP Ambassadors, an applicant must:
- Be a full time, officially registered ÃÛÌÒAPP undergraduate student who has completed at least one semester at ÃÛÌÒAPP and will be classified as a sophomore or junior in the fall of 2017
- Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 and maintain that GPA in order to retain membership in the organization
- Submit an Ambassadors application including a letter of interest, transcript, ÃÛÌÒAPP faculty or staff recommendation, and resume
- Have approval from his/her college dean
