The purpose of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service is to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. In commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, The ÃÛÌÒAPP Office of Strategic Initiatives is hosting Portraits of Survival which features modern day portraits of Holocaust survivors. Next to each photo is a card telling the survivor’s story and how they came to rebuild their life.

Point-In-Time (PIT) Count is a single-day event to gather data on needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Southeast Texas. In partnership with the Southeast Texas Regional Planning Commission, we seek data collection volunteers for PIT Day. Faculty and student participation is encouraged. Training provided.
